Operational Model Design

We define “Operational Model” as the relationship between processes, technology, organization and human resources available to execute the business strategies.

Our “Operational Model Design” service helps companies develop an architecture and implementation plan for an improved Operational Model based on the best practices and technology enablers of a package like Epicor Enterprise

During this service, we help our customers evaluate the existing gap between the current (“as is”) and the future (“to be”) company situation, establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and the corresponding Performance Plan for the new processes, as well as provide an analysis of the projected cost-benefit and risks of the change. Key activities typically executed are:

Review the company’s Vision, Mission and Strategies to identify implications on the people, processes and technology within the scope of the reengineering effort.

Confirm the Operational Vision that depicts key attributes at the process, department and system levels.

Perform a high level assessment of the current Operational Model and asses the change required, as well as the potential benefits that would accrue from implementing the target Operational Vision.

Develop the target Operational Model which depicts key attributes at the sub-process, workgroup and technology component levels.

Define strategies for modifying the supporting technology and human resource architectures to the extent necessary
